Michel Glower, Commercial Appraiser, MAI, Ph.D.
President
Michel Glower is a commercial real estate appraiser who has been involved in real estate for more than 30 years, with many years of experience in housing and financial research in academic and government-related settings. Dr. Glower earned her Ph.D. in Real Estate from the Ohio State University. She also holds an M.B.A. in Finance and undergraduate degrees in Real Estate and Accounting, also from Ohio State. After consulting and teaching investment valuation issues, Dr. Glower now integrates theory into real-world application, practicing commercial valuation and consulting at a national level. She holds general appraisal certifications in multiple states. Dr. Glower holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute.
As a commercial real estate appraiser, Dr. Glower has experience in market studies, feasibility studies and valuations of special use properties including correctional facilities, educational facilities, religious facilities, hospitals, and surgery centers. She performs market studies, feasibility studies, and commercial appraisals of office, industrial, multifamily, retail, and mixed-use properties. Dr. Glower is also an experienced reviewer of commercial valuations.
Dr. Glower is active with the Appraisal Institute, having served as President of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Appraisal Institute 2014-15, and has also served as the Education Liaison for Region VI of the Appraisal Institute. She served on the International Relations Committee of the Appraisal Institute. She is an instructor for continuing education, and is an external advisor for Lehigh University Practicum projects.
